Quem Conta Um Conto - The new Book Club for foreigners in Lisbon

Hello,

Today we are glad to inform you that Portuguese Connection is the host school of the new Book Club for foreigners in Lisbon: "Quem Conta um Conto". "Quem conta um conto acrescenta um ponto" is an old Portuguese proverb that means that telling a story to someone is like teaching them something new, which they can use later in life. And this is the main goal of the club. You will have the opportunity to read aloud extracts of some Portuguese literary works written by the most famous Portuguese writers. The entrance is free of charge, and the sessions are held on the first Tuesday of every month. You can find all the information in the club's facebook page.

The club is targeted to foreigners with a good level of Portuguese (intermediate), but it is open to every Portuguese people interested to join.

The club has 2 main sponsors: Portuguese Connection and Biblioteca Camões. The latter is the main indicator of the quality of the reading sessions, managed by Ana Rita Laureano, who also selects the texts.

This is an opportunity that you cannot miss if you live in isbon, have an intermediate level in Portuguese, and want to immerse yourself into the amazing Portuguese literature.

If you want to enrol and be part of this new project, please contact the school!

Thanks
