Lisbon is an incredibly photogenic city. Built on seven hills, facing the ocean, Lisbon marked countless artists with its unique atmosphere. Among them, the famous French writer Simone de Beauvoir managed to capture Lisbon’s character in a simple, but powerful sentence. For her, Lisbon should be described as "A southern city. A city at the same time burning and cool that contains in the horizon the promise of the sea and the salted wind sweeping the hills."
Portuguese Connection would like to offer you the opportunity to feel this intensity and make it yours. Instead of bringing home one of those tram paintings that you can find around every touristic corner, why don’t you learn to make your own?
We imagined a new program that can be combined with our intensive Portuguese classes. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (3 times a week), from 17.30 to 19.30, we offer you the possibility to participate in painting and drawing sessions lead by a drawing/painting/art history specialist. This is an exclusivity in Portugal, don't miss it !
During these sessions, you will:
Learn to master up to 9 different techniques
Learn about the Portuguese technical vocabulary and the history of arts
Visit and explore the most beautiful and inspirational places in Lisbon
