It's Easter time: almonds for everyone!

pascoaportugal

It's Easter time and it is is very common for Portuguese people to offer each other amêndoas at this time of the year!

Coated in sugar, covered in dark or white chocolate, colorful, shaped like animals: there's an amêndoa for everyone out there! There is a large variety of almonds to pick from: amêndoas tipo francês (french) are the classic ones coated in sugar and usually in white and pink, cláudias (chocolate almond) covered in chocolate and the rustic amêndoas torradas coated in caramelized sugar.

What are you waiting for?

Go out there, buy some almond and spread the Easter and spring spirit! A very Portuguese tradition!

Muitas amêndoas!
